| When I first set out to acquire my first Pug in 20 years, I was astounded at the poor quality and health of many of the Pugs I had looked at. Some were so small that they required doses of corn syrup to keep their sugar levels up. They would actually pass out in your hand. I saw some with congenital lung problems, etc. At LUVURPUG KENNELS, we breed firstly for the health of our babies.Obviously, if you breed healthy parents, the liklihood of healthy babies is far greater. We screen 2 generations prior to breeding your puppy's parents. We cut no corners on the preventative care of our adults or puppies. Adults are on flea/tick/heartworm preventative and are given NuVet Plus Vitamins daily along with being fed premium foods. All are kept up to date on all shots. We want our babies to be well-adjusted and pleasant so that you can enjoy them. We would never breed an aggressive or overly timid animal so as not to pass those traits on to their pups. Lastly, we breed for body confirmation. We will breed animals that adhere to the confirmation standards as set by the American Kennel Club. All puppies are raised with meticulous care and come with a 1 year health guarantee against all life threatening genetic illnesses.
